Two explosions detonated in the departure hall at the Brussels airport, and an explosion followed at a metro station near the European Union headquarters. It happened during rush hour and at least 31 people were killed and several hundred injured. Two Belgian born brothers have been identified as suicide bombers and ISIS has claimed credit for Tuesday's carnage. The investigation is ongoing and authorities are connecting this attack with the attack in Paris last November. Vigils have taken place across Belgium and around the world. Roughly a year ago, Obama said he intended to re-open diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Cuba, and this stopover partially showed that he meant it. On the three-day trip, Obama met with Cuban leaders and encouraged them to improve lives for their citizens, but did it help? In case you missed it, the U.S. and Cuba haven't really been on speaking terms for about 50 years, (thanks to the Cold War, the Bay of Pigs Invasion, Fidel Castro... you know, the usual). Conservatives (including many Cuban Americans) think that expanding relations with Cuba sends a message that the U.S. is embracing a government opposed to American values. Not to mention, current Cuban President Raul Castro did not show up to meet President Obama at the airport. On the bright (?) side, they did attend a baseball game together, and they even did the wave... #TakeMeOutToCuba? Obviously, there's a time and a place for everything, but I think we all can confidently say that North Korea is never that place. Common sense? More like Communist sense. During his visit to NoKo, 21 year-old UVA undergrad Otto Warmbier was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor for allegedly trying to steal a propaganda sign from his Pyongyang hotel. The conviction is for the crime of subversion, believe it or not. (Don't worry, we Googled it, too.) Just when you thought it couldn't get worse than "Girls Gone Wild"... The UK National Environmental Research Council (NERC) asked for help in naming their $300 million dollar ship, but made the mistake of asking for name suggestions online. Although the NERC specifically asked for "inspirational" names, internet voters had a different idea... "RRS Boaty McBoatface" is currently leading. Other not-so-serious name submissions include: "RRS Usain Boat" and "RRS Ice, Ice Baby." Stay tuned to see whether or not Boaty McBoatface will set sail for Antarctica in 2019. The company stated that they will officially end the breeding of orcas, and will remove performances involving killer whales at each of their parks. SeaWorld is partnering with the Humane Society of the United States to work on its image and take strides to help change the treatment of animals. Whether or not you stand with the whales or whatever phrase it is, this is a huge move on their part. Insert Orca happy dance here. Amy Schumer, actress and long-time comedian, left a hefty tip over her last weekend travels to see the Broadway show 'Hamilton'. After getting a second round of drinks at a cost of 77 dollars, Amy left a one-thousand dollar tip for the bartenders. Schumer attended a show months before, and left an eighty dollar tip, saying to the bartenders, "of course, I've been there, I get it, you guys are great." These bartenders have never seen this much and type of generosity before in the theater. Hey Amy, up top! Make-it-rain-five! Read More | | | | Issue. 024. © 2016. FOX News Network LLC.
